US based Automotive aftermarket retailer, Advance Auto Parts, has unveiled the new Wearever Platinum, an exclusive line of premium ceramic brake pads, which the company claims will deliver a quieter stop and better stopping power.

The new pads will feature SoundLock Plus technology which uses a four-layer shim, which will reduce the noise while braking and its commercial grade ceramic friction formula will facilitate for faster stopping power

SoundLock Plus's diamond-patterned outer rubber layer will absorb the sound, while its premium-grade inner steel will add rigidity, a second inner rubber layer will further holds back noise and an acrylic adhesive layer will soak up vibration.

The Platinum pads will also feature a new formula for enhancing the dust reduction, CleanestWheelTechnology which will keep the wheels clean.
