The test sample is continuously injected into the bacteria-collecting incubator through the sample injection pipeline, filtered by a filter membrane with a pore size of 0.45 microns by using the downward pressure formed in the bacteria-collecting incubator, and the microorganisms possibly existing in the test sample are intercepted and collected on the filter membrane, and the antibacterial components of the test sample are removed by flushing the filter membrane. Then, the required culture medium is directly injected into the bacteria-collecting incubator through the sampling pipeline, and cultured at the specified temperature to observe whether there is any bacteria growth phenomenon.

The function of the bacteria collection instrument is to check whether the tested product contains bacteria,  and it is used in conjunction with the bacteria collection incubator. It is mainly used for sterility test of sterile preparations for injection,  including antibiotics and drugs containing bacteriostatic components, large infusions, water injections, sterilized medical instruments, sterile water for injection, etc.
